Operation & Advantages

Rotating the handwheel drives the valve stem to control the disc movement. The double eccentric structure-where the shaft is offset from both the disc center and the pipeline centerline-allows the disc to lift off the seat immediately upon opening, significantly reducing seal wear and operating torque. The resilient soft seat provides reliable sealing under high pressure (up to Class 2500) and at cryogenic temperatures down to –46°C. The low-temperature carbon steel body is impact-tested to ensure ductility and prevent brittle fracture in cold service.
