This cryogenic gate valve is engineered for reliable on/off service in extreme low-temperature applications, including LNG, liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and argon systems. Featuring an extended stem design and low-temperature certified cast stainless steel construction, it ensures safe, leak-tight operation down to –196°C. Available in sizes up to 48" and pressure ratings up to Class 2500 for demanding cryogenic infrastructure.

Operation & Advantages

The valve uses a rising stem with a flexible wedge gate that provides tight shut-off even under thermal cycling. The extended stem isolates the packing area from the cryogenic fluid, preventing freezing of the stem seal and ensuring smooth operation. Each unit undergoes rigorous low-temperature testing at –196°C to validate material toughness and sealing performance. The full-port design minimizes pressure drop in high-flow cryogenic lines.
