Cryogenic testing is carried out on site where valves are submerged in liquid nitrogen at -196C and leak tested with helium gas,as this kind of gate valve that wedge have special design. Forged gate valves can be full port or reduced port as per requirements of customers.

● Solid CoCr alloy wedges on NPS 1⁄2 – 2 (DN 15–50) valves operate with no galling in cryogenic service.
● Cleaning: All cryogenic valves are thoroughly degreased and cleaned and pipe ends are sealed to prevent contamination.
