Product Details

NSV Pneumatic knife gate valve,it means that pneumatic actuator control the valves to open and close,which have up and down parts,up part is actuator,down part is knife gate valve.

Pneumatic knife gate valve has the advantages of simple and compact structure, reasonable design, light material saving, reliable sealing, flexible operation, small volume, smooth passage, low flow resistance, light weight, easy to install, easy to disassemble and so on. It can work normally under the working pressure of 1.0MPa-2.5MPa and the operating temperature of -29-650℃. Knife-type gate valve has the function of shearing, which can scrape off the adhesive on the sealing surface and remove the sundries automatically. Stainless steel gate can prevent sealing leakage caused by corrosion.

Precautionary Measures

Valve Position

The valve can be assembled in any position,however we recommend suitable position as bellow:

Knife gate valve assembly way

The valve is unidirectional is must be installed with the pressure which push the knife on the gasket.The flow direction is user responsility.Please assemble the valve following the arrow on the body(hydraulics applications).

Repair and Maintenance

Take old packing out

Put 3 layers of packing in the place

Note that each joint of the packing should be in different places

Replacement of valve seat

A.Unscrewed packing gland and remove the gate

B.Remove retainer ring

C.Take the old EPDM ring out and clean it’s place

D.Put new EPDM ring in the place

E.Put ratainer on the EPDM ring

F.Put gate back and packing in valve body

G.Assemble the packing gland and tighten the screw
