API 6D Check Valve

  NSV API6D Full Port Swing check valves, like all check valves, are used to prevent back flow in the line. That’s full port design due to some pipeline need pigging,and BS1868 standard check valve is not suitable for it. swing check valves are a more traditional variety. The disc of a swing check valve is secured to the body of the valve by a trunnion and hinge arm, without the aid of a spring.

Robust one-piece construction to withstand the severe shock of check valve service. Hardfaced with 13Cr, CoCr alloy, SS 316, or Monel, ground and lapped to a mirror finish. Sizes NPS 2–6 (DN 50–150) may have solid CA 15 (13Cr) disc. SS 316 disc with CoCr alloy facing also available.
