The ball valve is a mature and old product. It uses the area that the ball core rotates and the valve seat to open to adjust the flow rate. Its use characteristics are as follows:
(1) The biggest feature is the simplest flow path, the smallest loss, and the best "self-cleaning" performance.
(2) "O"-shaped ball valve unimpeded adjustment. The Kv value is the largest, usually used for two-bit cutting of dirty media.
(3) The "V"-shaped ball valve provides adjustment characteristics that approximate logarithmic flow characteristics. When the "V"-shaped ball valve rotates relative to the valve seat, it produces a shearing effect. It is especially suitable for high-viscosity, suspension, pulp and other unclean and fiber-containing materials. Media adjustment and cutting.
(4) The force of the valve core is to push the valve core ball to one side of the valve seat under the action of Δp. The pressing force on the valve seat increases the friction force when the valve core rotates, so Δp mainly produces A kind of friction, the actuator is much easier to overcome this friction, that is, the ball valve cut-off pressure difference is larger.
(5) Special ball valve for water treatment can be applied to strong corrosive media.
(6) The ball valve is similar to the diaphragm circumference application. It is recommended to use more ball valves and less diaphragm valves (the diaphragm is too easy to break).
(7) Too bulky and poor reliability.
