Do You Know The Advantages And Disadvantages Of Different Valve Core Structures Of Pneumatic Control Valves?

In the design of pneumatic control valves, various valve core structures have their own unique strengths and weaknesses. The following lists some common valve core structures and their characteristics:

1. Single control valve
Its advantages
Excellent flow characteristics: Single-seat control valves usually have good flow performance and can adapt to various flow control needs.
High leakage level: The design structure of this valve core has a high leakage level, which is particularly suitable for application scenarios with strict requirements on leakage standards.
Single-seat control valves can show excellent working performance under both normal and high temperature conditions.
Significant economic benefits: Compared with other control valves, single-seat control valves are usually more cost-effective in terms of cost.
Disadvantages
The ability to overcome pressure differences is relatively weak: When the pressure difference in the pipeline is too large, the single control valve may not be completely closed or opened, thereby reducing the accuracy of control.

2. Single-seat sleeve control valve
Its advantages
Compared with single-seat control valves, sleeve single-seat control valves show better performance in the ability to cope with pressure differences.
The leakage level is similar to that of the single-seat control valve: they both have relatively high leakage levels and can meet a variety of sealing requirements.
Disadvantages
Poor linearity: Compared with the single-seat control valve, the sleeve single-seat control valve may be slightly less linear in the flow characteristics, which may affect the accuracy of control.
Under certain high temperature conditions, the working performance of the sleeve single-seat control valve may be affected to some extent, which shows that its temperature resistance has certain limitations.
Compared with the single-seat control valve, the sleeve single-seat control valve may be slightly higher in cost, but its economy is better.

3. Double-seat control valve
Its advantages
The cartridge double-seat control valve also shows excellent pressure difference overcoming ability, especially suitable for high pressure difference application scenarios.
Disadvantages
Due to the poor linearity of the flow characteristics, this may reduce the accuracy of control.
Compared with the single-seat and sleeve single-seat control valves, the cartridge double-seat control valve has a relatively low leakage level and its sealing effect is not satisfactory.
Limitations of sealing methods: Generally, the cartridge double-seat regulating valve can only use metal as the sealing material, which limits its application range.

4.Point, about the derivative types of sleeve regulating valves
Low-noise regulating valve
Its advantages are high energy consumption and low noise.
The disadvantage is that its flow performance is not ideal.
This is a multi-level pressure-reducing regulating valve
Its advantage is that it has an excellent pressure-reducing effect.
The disadvantage is that its flow performance is not ideal.
Labyrinth regulating valve
Advantage: It has better blood pressure reduction performance.
The disadvantage is that its flow characteristics are not good and the CV value is low.
